anthony hamling, licsw | Anxiety/LGBTQIA

Don't wait for a better time; start living now. We all try to avoid pain, whether it's failure, rejection, or other discomforts. Sometimes it's challenging to open up or face our issues, but ignoring them only makes them grow. Talking it out and being honest with yourself is the path to coping and truly living life. I'm here as your ally, ready to listen and support you on this journey. Let's tackle the tough stuff together so you can fully embrace life.

brooke fox, lmhc | Anxiety

Seeking help requires courage, acknowledging that you don't have everything together or feel like you're failing. Therapy might seem daunting due to past experiences or uncertainty. But remember, you don't need all the answers; just bring your willingness to try.

The counseling journey can be challenging, but you won't be alone. Despite busy schedules, self-care is essential, and neglecting it can lead to unfavorable outcomes. Prioritize yourself, let's create a plan to address your needs, and equip you with everyday skills. I have a decade of experience, hold licenses in MA, NY, & VT, and specialize in crisis counseling and mental health.

candace wall, lmhc | Burnout/people-pleasing

My experience on the ground, working in very stressful, high-risk environments, and coming out alive on the other side, sets me apart as a clinician and trainer in the field.

- Want to quit your job? Chances are there's more to it. Take your lunch break and let's meet.
- Seeking to reconnect with your partner, kids, friends, dog? Let's sort through the crap weighing you down and recycle it so you can get back to what's important in your life.

You might already know all the answers. It's my job to teach you how to follow your own advice.

Kayla Quick, LMHC | toxic relationships

Lindsey Keating, LMHC | Addiction/Generational trauma

Escape from anxiety and fear can lead to unhealthy habits and escalating issues. Why wait for things to worsen when we can work together now toward your goals and peace? We're all human, and having someone who understands can make a big difference.

Learn to cope with loneliness, boost confidence, and find happiness. I've been on my own healing journey and am passionate about helping others on theirs. Share your vision for your "best self," and together, we'll create a plan to reach your goals and maintain daily satisfaction, happiness, and self-worth.

Let's release built-up emotions, improve your quality of life, and build stress-management skills together. You're strong and resilient, and I'll help you see that.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located?

Our offices are located at the NORAD Mill in North Adams, Massachusetts. We also offer telehealth throughout the state of Massachusetts.

HOW DO I SET UP AN APPOINTMENT?

There are several ways to contact us. Please feel free to choose the option that is easiest for you. You can contact us by telephone or text (413.353.2515) or by completing the form located on the “Contact Us” tab at the top of this page. If you have any questions, please ask. We look forward to hearing from you.

What does it cost?

The initial session (intake) is $175. Subsequent sessions are $125 (45 minutes.) Acceptable forms of payment include cash and all major credit cards.

Our Massachusetts practice is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Health New England, and Tufts HMO/PPO commercial plans. You are responsible for contacting your insurance company prior to meeting with us to confirm your appointment will be covered. Any co-pays/deductible are due at the time of appointment.

We are also considered an Out of Network provider and can accept PPO insurances that offer "Out of Network" benefits/coverage.

Some clients choose to pay out of pocket for services and not go through their insurance. Their reasoning is due to privacy and complete confidentiality, as insurances can request a treatment report, have access to your records and diagnosis, and decide and limit the number of sessions you are allowed.

If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. You will be responsible for the full fee and charged for the time reserved when cancellations are received less than 24 hours in advance.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT?

Your right to confidentiality is an essential part of the therapeutic process. This right will be carefully maintained and information will not be disclosed without your written permission. However, if information pertaining to abuse of a child, elderly person, or disabled person is disclosed, we are mandated to report it. Additionally, information may be disclosed to your insurance company (if you choose to use insurance benefits) or if we receive a criminal court subpoena.
