Where are you located?

Our offices are located at the NORAD Mill in North Adams, Massachusetts. We also offer telehealth to all of Massachusetts, Vermont, Arizona, and New York State.

How do I set up an appointment?

There are several ways to contact us. Please feel free to choose the option that is easiest for you. You can contact us by telephone or text (413.353.2515) or by completing the form located on the “Contact Us” tab at the top of this page. If you have any questions, please ask. We look forward to hearing from you.

Are you meeting people in person or online?

Both! Currently we are offering clients the option to meet in person or online, depending on the therapist you are currently working with and where you are receiving services. Massachusetts has in-person and online options. We additionally provide online services across Vermont, Arizona, and New York. We use a secure, videoconferencing site to meet with clients for telehealth sessions. Our system is transparent, easy to use, and can be accessed on a computer or apple device.

What days/times are you available?

Appointments are available Monday-Saturday. Our hours vary depending on the day, however, we do have limited evening/weekend appointment times. Please note that appointments may book rather quickly and likely will need to be scheduled in advance.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have regarding office hours and availability.

What does it cost?

The initial session (intake) is $175. Subsequent sessions are $125 (45 minutes.) Acceptable forms of payment include cash and all major credit cards.

If you have questions about our rates, please feel free to contact us.

Do you take my insurance?

Our Massachusetts practice is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Health New England, Harvard Pilgrim, and Tufts HMO/PPO commercial plans. You are responsible for contacting your insurance company prior to meeting with us to confirm your appointment will be covered. Any co-pays/deductible are due at the time of appointment.

We are also considered an Out of Network provider and can accept PPO insurances that offer "Out of Network" benefits/coverage. As an out-of-network provider, we have partnered with Mentaya to help our clients save money on therapy.

Some clients choose to pay out of pocket for services and not go through their insurance. Their reasoning is due to privacy and complete confidentiality, as insurances can request a treatment report, have access to your records and diagnosis, and decide and limit the number of sessions you are allowed.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so at least 48 hours in advance. You will be responsible for the full fee and charged for the time reserved when cancellations are received less than 48 hours in advance.

Are my sessions confidential?

Your right to confidentiality is an essential part of the therapeutic process. This right will be carefully maintained and information will not be disclosed without your written permission. However, if information pertaining to abuse of a child, elderly person, or disabled person is disclosed, we are mandated to report it. Additionally, information may be disclosed to your insurance company (if you choose to use insurance benefits) or if we receive a criminal court subpoena.

Does seeing a therapist mean something is wrong with me?

There is a lot of stigma surrounding counseling. However, the ability to handle everything life throws at us is not always possible. You are not a superhero. Therapy is a way to invest in yourself and your relationships with others to be your best self, better reach your goals, and find a healthier work/life balance that works for you.

If you would like to know if therapy is right for you, please contact us and we can schedule a free 10 minute phone consultation to explore if we may be able to help.

Emergency

If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911. Any after-hours crisis situations are directed to The Berkshire County Crisis Team, 413.499.0412. If you are able to wait until the next business day, please leave a voicemail/text, 413.353.2515, or email your therapist directly.
