We are 413 Theraworks.

Established in 2019, we're your local (and not-so-local) group psychotherapy practice. We offer individual therapy to adults at our office in North Adams, MA and online throughout Massachusetts, Vermont, and New York.

413 Theraworks started because our founder, Candace Morey, saw the same thing over and over — talented clinicians burning out in systems that didn't support them, and clients falling through the cracks as a result. She knew there had to be a better way to run a practice: one where therapists actually had what they needed to do great work, and where clients could trust that the person sitting across from them wasn't just going through the motions.

That's what we built. We're a small team on purpose. Every clinician here was chosen because they're skilled, they care, and they don't cut corners. We hold ourselves to a high standard — not because it sounds good on a website, but because the people who come to us deserve it.

We believe therapy works when it's honest. Not scripted, not performative — honest. We believe in meeting people where they are instead of where we think they should be. We believe that a good therapist doesn't just listen — they push back when it matters, sit with you when it's hard, and help you figure out what's actually going on underneath the surface.

We also believe that the people doing this work matter. Our clinicians are supported, invested in, and treated like the professionals they are. That's not extra — it's the baseline. Because when therapists are taken care of, their clients get better care. It's that simple.

Why 413 Theraworks

We're direct. We don't do vague, feel-good therapy language. We talk to you like a real person because you are one.

We're evidence-based. Our clinicians use approaches grounded in research — not trends, not guesswork. We track outcomes because your progress matters more than our assumptions.

We're a real team. Our clinicians don't operate in silos. They consult with each other, support each other, and hold each other accountable. That means you're not just getting one therapist — you're getting the benefit of an entire team behind your care.

We're accessible. We offer in-person sessions at our North Adams office and telehealth across Massachusetts, Vermont, and New York. We accept insurance and we'll tell you upfront what to expect — no surprises.

We're LGBTQ+ affirming. Always have been. Everyone is welcome here.
