Feeling alone, invalidated? Trying to convince yourself your experience will pass, it’s not really “that bad,” or that others have it so much worse? Whether minimizing your thoughts is coming from others or from within, you don’t deserve the anguish or the abuse.
You deserve to feel supported, validated. You deserve to be heard and to feel safe.
Waiting to talk and denying our innate need to be heard only increases depression, anxiety, irritability, our ability to do the things we need to each day—it robs us from being immersed in moments with our partners, children, and loved ones.
As a mother of twins, who has experienced and come out on the other side of postpartum depression, I truly value the relationship developed through the therapeutic process.
Therapy can help to organize our thoughts, decrease rumination, and problem solve the issues that are all consuming. Guiding women to learn coping skills and how to listen to and rebuild a trusting relationship with their bodies is my zone of genius.
Let’s work together on validation, positive affirmations, and ways for you to experience your own self-worth. The ability to be fully present in our life is incredibly freeing.
I am an active and empathic listener. I believe strongly in women’s intuition, healing energy, and the power of positive affirmations and validations. I love and use daily meditation and yoga.
You don’t deserve this suffering and I’d be honored to briefly walk beside you on your journey to healing.
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and am trained in both perinatal mood disorders and trauma-informed treatment. I integrate clinical techniques from CBT, ACT, DBT, and motivational interviewing.
